Virginia Albutt

Virginia Albutt  studied at Corsham, and worked in the theatre in Oxford and London. On moving to Cambridge, she taught in the School of Art at Anglia Ruskin University. More recently, Virginia was commissioned to produce greeting cards, and has a range of her own designs. She also sells limited edition museum quality prints of her work.

Virginia wants to capture the heartbeat of the landscape in colour. She works on site in all weathers, painting in oils or mixed media.  She  exhibits with the Cambridge Drawing Society, Cambridge Open Studios and the Society of East Anglian Watercolourists.

Virginia’s work is held in public and private collections in the UK, Australia, India, Japan, New Zealand, South Africa and the USA.
