Denise Schoenberg

Denise qualified and practiced as an architect in Cambridge and developed her interest in watercolours alongside architectural design. She is inspired by flowers, landscapes and man made objects and loves to explore and experiment with the many and varied ways of using watercolour to depict light and texture.

For many years Denise has been teaching watercolour art classes for adults in the Cambridge area. These have included beginners and improvers watercolour classes for local adult education colleges and her own weekly groups.

Denise has received many commissions, the most recent was to produce two paintings of Calgary Bay on the Isle of Mull for St John’s Church as retirement gifts for the Vicar.

Denise is a member of the Society of East Anglian Watercolourists and is a regular participant in Cambridge Open Studios.
