Membership

The society has a maximum of 70 full members.  As from 1st June 2016 artists wishing to become members of the society will be required to submit paintings for selection at the society’s annual selected works exhibition. The judges for the selected exhibition are invited from associations other than the SEAW and change every year in order to ensure a fair selection of work and styles from year to year.

Artists whose submissions are successful may be invited to become associate members of the society after the selected exhibition.

After a minimum of one year’s membership as an associate member, if spaces are available an artist may be invited to become a full member.
