Feedback from workshops at WaterWays

As this was my first experience of a Painting Workshop, I found it very interesting, helpful and encouraging. Denise provided good and helpful advice to all participants relating to each individuals ability. Techniques explained included Use of colour (Triadic Colour Wheel), brushes, plant forms and structures and light and dark sources. Time was given to practise some of the techniques.

Feedback on Denise Schoenberg's workshop

Thank you so much for today’s workshop in Ely. Though I already knew the techniques of wash and glazing, I’d never put it into practise and I’ve learnt so much. Patience is as much part of the technique as the actual painting. Really enjoyable. 7th Sep 2021

Barbara Eacott on Anthony Osler's workshop

I thoroughly enjoyed the day and learned some great tips to get me back into drawing and painting again. I have been enjoying working on my sketches since the class, thank you for encouraging me to pick this up again!!

Sarah Jayne Clements on Penny and Linda's Workshop

I found the workshop very informative Tony gave good guidance to the subject explaining the techniques required. My only regret was 3 hours could have been longer as we had to rush towards the end. To cover all aspects of sky formation a longer workshop would be better. Never the less it was an enjoyable experience and I have gained some valuable ideas to take away and practice.
