Where the light falls

Winner of the Cambridge District Art Circle Award for unique composition.

I am interested in exploring the urban nature landscape.

I like the strong man-made compositional line of the bridge in contrast to the wild haphazard undergrowth. The light coming through the trees made some really interesting shapes which I wanted to capture.

Graffiti in spots like this remind me of cave paintings. In the light of covid-19 I think it has made everyone face their own mortality. Concrete and and brick structures like these would still be here if we had all perished. it would eventually be reclaimed by nature.
