This painting is a collaborative piece of work done by two members of the SEAW. Through lockdown, our gardens were our refuge and solace. We planted and nurtured and took comfort from the newness that emerged. Post lockdown, the two of us started painting together in the garden about once a month. This large work was a response to the garden in September, in its abundant, overgrown state: rampant, unruly and gloriously unconstrained.
