We were travelling across moorland, and ‘Shaggy’ stood in the middle of the road. We approached at a slow speed and she stood her ground – very bold and inquisitive. She allowed me to approach and speak to her, and certainly had great strength of character, adorned with her outrageous wool colours – just like she had emerged from a heavy rain storm before the wool dyes had time to dry. Or perhaps the wrong paints had been used?!
