Christine Wilson

Christine is an experimental artist who has attended many watercolour, acrylic and printmaking workshops, since retirement from a Human Resources management role in the University of Cambridge.

Christine has a love of colour and vibrancy, which she strongly believes lifts the spirit, and uses this to bring her work to life.  She works primarily in pen, ink and watercolour, and her artwork is inspired by animals and nature, and through her love of travel.

Being passionate in her drive to capture the character, essence and vitality of any chosen subject matter, Christine aims to evoke emotion through a range of atmospheric and varied work.

With a background of some years working with ceramics and developing her photography skills, her work is varied in content, and can be very detailed through a love of drawing, or in contrast may be spontaneous and fluid.

Christine exhibits work with the SEAW,

Cambridge Drawing Society and

Hemingford Art Club, and participates in Cambridge Open Studios.
