Astrig Akseralian

Astrig Akseralian is a British artist working in mixed media. Her areas of interest are landscape, life drawing and the smaller more intimate landscapes of allotments.

She currently lives in Cambridge having moved from London. She worked for many years in the film industry as a specialist painter in the Creature Effects Departments.

She received  BAHons Degree in Ceramics from the Central School of Art and Design.

Astrig won two awards at the SEAW Selected exhibition in 2019:
  • The Royal Watercolour Society President’s Award: Unearthly Earth by Astrig Akseralian
  • The Daniel Smith Award: Valentia, Ireland by Astrig Akseralian
