Landscape Style with Stick and Ink with Caroline Furlong

Caroline’s workshop will focus on using stick and ink with watercolours to capture East Anglian landscapes, taking you through each stage of the painting to produce beautiful pictures . There will also be a chance to sketch in small but interesting Cottage garden.

Caroline’s paintings are frequently voted visitors’ favourite at the SEAW exhibitions

Materials needed:

  • Rough 140lb watercolour paper a few 1/4 imp sheets.
  • Waterpots
  • Watercolour tube paints
  • Pallet
  • Watercolour brushes
  • Masking tape
  • 3B pencil ,rubber
  • Sketch book
  • Kitchen roll
  • Indian ink( waterproof) Windsor and newton with a spider on bottle.

Coffee and Tea will be provided. Attendees are advised to bring lunch. A materials list will be provided closer to the event.

Please Note: due to this workshop being held in a period Cottage with lots of unusual features it is with regret that this facility is not suitable for those who use wheelchairs.

Non-members welcome. (For £10 you could become a Friends of the SEAW. Friends of the SEAW are eligible to book ALL SEAW workshop places at the member rate.)
