Sue Heaser

Sue was born and brought up overseas and educated in Pakistan and Lebanon. She trained at the Sadat School of Art in Beirut and then came to England to study at Falmouth School of Art and Exeter University. She first worked for English Heritage as an archaeological illustrator and then moved on to a career as a writer and illustrator, specialising in jewellery and sculpted miniatures. She is the author of 15 internationally published books.

Now Sue is attempting to semi-retire and to pursue her passion for filling her sketchbooks with watercolours and drawings. She has lived in Suffolk for over 30 years and her paintings reflect her love of the natural landscapes, gardens and seascapes of East Anglia and further afield. She is also a keen portraitist and particularly enjoys painting children.

Sue teaches regular classes in watercolour and drawing and is a committee member of the Society of East Anglian Watercolourists
