Based in the picturesque Cambridgeshire village of Houghton, Amanda has been teaching art classes to adults for some years. The classes have included beginners and improvers Botanical Watercolours, beginners Sketching and Painting as well as general art.

Amanda has undertaken numerous private commissions in various media including watercolour, acrylic, oils as well as pencils. Her recent paintings have been produced as limited edition Giclee prints, with both originals and prints now being enjoyed as far afield as Italy, Switzerland and Australia.

During the summer Amanda was commissioned to produce two paintings of St Mary’s Church by both the PCC and also a private individual as retirement and birthday gifts for the Rector.

At her first public exhibition last year Amanda won the Rosemary & Co award from the SEAW for her study of a Snakes Head Fritillary in watercolour. She is currently expanding her portfolio of botanical watercolours.
